Go with this one. I checked on Mobile and on PC - It will scale the image to the edges of the frame on mobile, so it doesn't matter.

Try this if you are using Chrome.

Go to "developer tools" Or hit ctrl + shift + J This will open up a tab on the right hand side for developers. Ignore everything except for the top left corner of the new window which has "elements" and exactly to the left of it is the "developer toolbar" shown with what looks like a phone and a tablet together. Click on this. You can also get to this menu by hitting ctrl + shift + M when the console is open.

Clicking on this option will set your browser to a mobile version and display what a mobile app would show. At the top where it says "Dimensions responsive" You can select various resolutions and common phone aspect ratios in here to preview what mobile animations and such will look like.

This one I enjoy more, since it is a comfortable viewing size without it being overwhelming.
I'm not too keen when it comes to how sharp an image is.

Honestly I'm the same way! I kinda like a smoother over a sharper image.

I think I will have to go with 300% but only barely beating 400%.

I'd be happy with either. 200 is sort of too small is my only real thoughts.

average size and quite fitting abit on the small side and the pixels are slightly more obvious and i start looking at the details abit more. still quite cute and i can like forgive the unfocus in the animation.

Oh, that's actually really good input. I didn't really think the animation would be unfocused, that's no good!
