Bit of a blast from the past for me with Sam here! He was one of the earliest characters I ever created, but his look was much different back then! As part of a huge revamp around characters and story, both new and old, I gave him an overhaul to his look!

As for the character himself, he's a trainer from Johto's Blackthorn City, and is a Dragon-type specialist as most of those who come from the city are. Some people have mistaken him to be related to Lance due to similar hair colors, something that tends to frustrate him.

His partner Pokemon is a Dragonair whom he raised from a Dratini, with the two having gone on many adventures together. At the start, he believed he didn't need any other Pokemon in his team due to his bond and trust in his Dragonair, but time would prove the folly of this idea as he would face a serious losing streak against trainers with teams containing multiple and considerably balanced Pokemon. This would lead him into acquiring others to add to his own roster, one of which would lead him to a grand connection he never thought possible.

Oh, and his Dragonair's nickname is Skydancer.
