The steampunk world of Ameta is ruled by patrons known as the winds, beings that control various weather patterns and stand as overseers of their corresponding guild. While they may not be true gods, the winds make it possible for ships and ports to remain airborne and without them the entire world would crumble and fall to the desolate earth below. People see the winds as deities and in return the winds protect and guide their people.
The West Wind “Westley”
Male - Pansexual
- West is the patron of the colonist guild, which focuses on both agriculture and political power
- West is represented by a bull, which he can transform into, and can control sandstorms
- Despite being a wind, West prefers the simple life of living on a farm on the surface world where he can home and care for the various creatures of Ameta, in addition to providing refuge for weary travelers who come across his home
- West feels that he doesn’t deserve the title of a wind, so as a way to earn his place among these “gods”, West now dedicates his life to traveling and helping his people first hand.
- West totally has a crush on the bad guy, because he’s a major simp, whoops.
