This is my character, Arali! She’s from the land of Ameta, a futuristic steampunk world filled with airships, flying ports, and pirates!

As the daughter of a wealthy baron, Arali was raised at a young age to be the perfect little trophy wife. From countless etiquette lessons to extensive studies she was molded by her parents and ultimately betrothed and married away to an equally wealthy man named Johnathan Myles. At first Arali was thrilled, a wealthy husband, beautiful home, perfect life, but that was until she began to see the dark side of her new husband. Johnathan was a cruel man, abusive both physically and mentally towards Arali. She was nothing but an object to him and he made sure she knew that her place was either in the kitchen or the bedroom. As time passed Arali braved her husband’s cruelty, but she wished for so much more than this sad excuse of a life. Johnathan was no stranger to parties, often showing off Arali as the trophy she was, but at one particular ball everything changed when she met Johnathan’s younger brother, Matthieu, a handsome militia officer in training. She’d never met a man as kind as he had been.. someone who treated her with the love and respect she truly deserved.. and that was when the affair began. Johnathan would leave for business, and Matthieu would swoop in and seize his riches when his brother was away.
But of course, Johnathan found out. In a blind rage he threw Arali out the upper window of their mansion, sending her flying from their home and over the edge of the very port itself. While her body wasn’t found, Arali was presumed dead and her husband was charged for her murder, in addition to uncovering some shady mafia business that he’d been involved in too.
Arali awoke on a black market port to find that her arm had been lost in the fall and replaced with a robotic version of itself. She had no idea who had saved her, but she wasn’t going to let her second chance at life go to waste. Arali was determined to shape her future the way she wanted to. It began with dabbling with the black market, using her looks and intelligence to worm her way in, hopping aboard a few trade ships, offering some illegal goods here and there, joining some odd jobs, offing a couple of people, ultimately she took to slavery trades, working beneath larger sellers before accumulating her own stock. Before she knew it, Arali had become the most powerful black market merchant there was with an empire beneath her.
- Arali is the black market lord and mostly deals with both the automaton slavery trades and arms dealing
- She captains a massive airship called “The Duchess”
- Arali ultimately married the pirate lord, Captain Thaddeus Crow
- They have 5 beautiful children together (Annabelle, Finn, Matthieu, Alexander, and Zackary)
- Arali has a robot servant named Reginald who handles business while she’s away
- Arali later was reunited with Matthieu and while they still do love one another, Arali has since moved on and now they’ve settled for being just friends.
