You draw something using a photo reference and the result is absolutely gorgeous! ❤️
I draw something from a photo and it looks like this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/11501181/

You said it better than I could. I was trying to say something similar, but couldn't find the right words, although I didn't think about imagining it as being a painting. I may get back into practicing drawing and painting before I die; not that I'm about to kick the bucket, so to speak.
Then I, for one, hope that the ones who asked for the piece are even half as pleased as we who are priveledged to view it now..
I know the loss of a beloved furry friend... I like so many others... things like this hold a very very special place in our hearts to help us remember all the good times we had with our friends before they left us.
It is as the saying goes.. when you open your heart to a furry in need, you also ensure someday you will cry and feel the pain of loss.. BUT that same pain can be taken away when another furry who knows you need them, will come to replace it.
It's a heavenly cycle that helps keep those of us who understand it going on a day to day basis, because any who have friends such as Boxer, or others, will and should admit that whenever the day is long, life is hard, or something happens that hits us without our expecting it.. our small friends are there to help us ease the pain of that event and they stay with us to help us get through it.
Goddess bless our small furry friends who are so much a rich part of necessity of our continued spiritual existence.

I lost a number of pets growing up, but the death of the family dog that I'd grown up with hit me super hard (admittedly, more than some human deaths even :b). I couldn't even comprehend getting another pet for a long time. Then I finally got a couple reptiles I immediately fell in love with, but they tragically died when I had to leave them in the care of my mother in law for two years. I had nightmares about it for years afterward :S ;_; I commissioned a sculptor to make memorial sculptures of them both, and am very glad to have done so.
Despite the terrible losses, I still feel this incredible need to fill the hole animal friends have left behind, even though I know how much the loss can hurt.
