Check out Mama Rainfeather in her debut beyond just being a ‘Cutie Mark’! She will be joining ‘Macaroni Penguin’, ‘Mommy Nutalie’, and ‘Goatella Amilf’ in taking on Part Time Caretaker roles at Quack-Quack’s Learning Farm.
Today we find Momma Rainfeather caring for Yosh, the dino-duckling, and Lucca, the lion cub who has a red mane and ‘cub spots’ near the base of his tail along with angel-like wings extending from his back, on a warm and rainy day.
Yosh and Lucca both are as carefree as can be after plopping themselves into the very first pond-like puddle they saw after being lead out to play. Mama Rainfeather was worried about the young ones’ well-being until she noticed how the pair started to laugh and play as if they were in the daycare’s inflatable pool.
With a sigh of relief, Mama Rainfeather smiled and allowed herself a chance to take in such a moment of blissful innocence.
I wonder what Mama Rainfeather, Lucca, and Yosh will get up to next? Perhaps we may see Celest join in on the fun? Anything is possible when you’re playing with your pals at Quack-Quack’s Learning Farm!

*Snugs* Thank you, Oxnard. I am certainly trying to get back into doing things and stuff now that my family has finished their Easter visit. Most notably getting back to writing and expanding upon all our fun characters.

*Blush* I forgot if Goatella had a last name. Since I kind of 'Derp'ed' on what it could be, I went with one of her classic titles of 'MILF' by, for the time, giving her the last name of 'Amilf'. (It is yet to be seen if Aro will make an 'Usal' out of her.). ;)

This is a really cute pic, but being more in the side of caretaker role I'm feeling pretty anxious about the whole situation. Right, it is adorable, silly and innocent. But what comes next? A completely necessary bath? Those clothes will require a trip to the washing machine too. Did Yosh brought some spare clothes in case of this situation or I (I mean, she) will have to look for a temporary substitute?... Next time it will be a more controlled activity in the inflatable pool without clothes, yes...
Most definitely! Mama rainfeather is new to caring for the little ones at Quack-Quack's Learning Farm. This 'Rainy Day Adventure' will end with Macaroni Penguin informing Mama Rainfeather on how, despite how tempting it is, it is important to keep the kids out of the rain and rain puddles. Hygiene is taken very serious by the Daycare / Preschool and opportunities for water play will be made available when times allow and parents have signed permission forms. Moms and dads will also be able to provide swim diapers and swimming suits to make the 'Kiddy Pool' / 'Slip & Slide' and 'Silly Sprinkler' happy, clean, and fun for all.
For now, Mama Rainfeather will need to get Lucca and Yosh to the daycare's washroom to get all fresh and clean. Soon enough, Mommy Nutalie, or Goatella Amilf will bring the extra clothes the two have in their cubbies to get freshly diapered, dressed, and ready to look all nice for when their mommies and daddies arrive.
For now, Mama Rainfeather will need to get Lucca and Yosh to the daycare's washroom to get all fresh and clean. Soon enough, Mommy Nutalie, or Goatella Amilf will bring the extra clothes the two have in their cubbies to get freshly diapered, dressed, and ready to look all nice for when their mommies and daddies arrive.
You made me think about something curious Yosh. Have you ever seen how one of those daycares / preeschool works with the thing of the diapers? They include them in the costs of the place? You have to bring them periodically? You can choose the type? The style? The colors? I find it really interesting to know.
That is a curious question.
For my son, we had to provide our own diapers at the daycares he attended. We had to write his name on each diaper we provided so the daycare workers knew what was his and what was not. Extra clothes, bottles, and other baby / toddler items had to be provided due to how the daycare facilities were not very well funded by State, Local, or Federal government agencies.
I would have liked to have been able to afford a daycare where my Peep could have gone without his mother and I having to write his name on diapers and provide various baby / toddler care items. We just never had the money to afford such a place. We were able to afford to have an early Childhood teacher take him for an hour, or 2, each week, but that was about it.

In the United States, early childhood, daycare, primary, secondary, and university education / support is the first item to be dropped to raise money to balance Federal, State, and Local budgets. It does not make sense, but it is what our politicians go for to please those who invested in their political careers. (This is why the USA is continuing to fall behind other countries in the world for academic performance, innovation, etc.).

We can help make things the way they should be through our art and stories. Maybe, if I should happen to be asked to run for political office, I can help remind the American tax payers why we need to pay 'School Taxes' and invest in supplementing daycare and after school care services.

That's interesting Yosh. You know? I think in my country it is not common at all that you use a daycare, unless you earn a lot of money, usually people just let them on their parents' houses. It was then something really interesting to know how exactly works. Thanks a lot for your explanation. You can tell me more about that experience if you wish. It sounds really interesting!
