Despite his opposing stature compared to the rest of his people, King Asgore wasn’t in the best physical shape while in the Underground. He could hold his trident like a simple kitchen folk. But when it came to his midsection, it was… nothing to write home about.

Luckily, since beginning his next life on the Surface, he’s taken the time to focus more on himself, working to improve his overall physique. With a routine of cardio, weight training, and even some yoga, Asgore now has the physical structure fit for a king. His new pairs of pecs and chiseled six-pack are a testament to his work.

Would he use his new eye-candy to win over his ex-wife? Nah, not really. He’s accepted that his time with Toriel is long gone. But on the upside, both the former lovers are now on good terms. Really, this new change to himself isn’t for anyone. It’s for him. He’s made a lot of mistakes during his time as a leader. And while he can never justify all of his past actions, he can put all of his focus to better his well-being, whether emotionally or physically.

And I guess as a bonus, there’s a new form of eye-candy for his people to appreciate.

Especially for one very nerdy lizard.

To be honest, I would kinda prefer Asgore to have a bit more of a dad bod. I think that fits his personality a lot better. But, this drawing was mainly for practicing anatomy and I ended up adding Asgore’s head and going from there.

And whether a good belly or a nice pair of abs, my crush on Asgore is all the same. If Alphys asked me to go on a Fluffybuns watch, I would accept it in a heartbeat. XD
