Moredena, and ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to apologize for the embarrassment this is obviously causing. Had this been taken up with me privately, this Comments section would not have been compromised and the attention taken away from the actual art.

If you had acted like a reasonable person and not puffed up when someone pointed out that you lack any measure of decorum, then this Comment section would not have been compromised. The only embarrassment here is that you decided to overreact and throw a tantrum without doing some basic fact-checking.

Before you wax sarcastic or insinuate that I am an interloping bystander, I assure you I know Moredena quite well. I spoke with her earlier tonight, she told me it would be fine for me to interject myself into this kerfluffle.

I see that you've been rather rude to Moredena's good friend, Foxyfennec. Far from being uninformed or 'out of the loop,' I know that Foxy has been a close confidant of Moredena in this and many other matters. To be blunt, Foxyfennec has a crystal-clear understanding of the situation.

Do you? It seems to me that the least informed person here, the one who has only a passing acquaintanceship, is you. I have spent hours at a time with Moredena and Foxyfennec; I have had the pleasure of watching them sketch, draw, and collaborate; I have eaten a wonderful meal made by Moredena.

I did act like a reasonable person, I started to. I wasn't the one who started the namecalling, I was the one who made it clear I would respect the wishes of the *artist* herself since it's *her* page, not Foxyfennec's and certainly not yours either. So don't try giving me ultimatums, I don't respond to them.

I met Moredena at AC and chatted with her before, she's a very nice person who I like very much, and we've been harmlessly kidding and flirting back and forth for about 2 months before AC. She understands the rib about the "100 feet of rope" and it was made in that same spirit. And the only thing I apologize for I already have, lowering myself to FF's level and namecalling back.

I don't give a damn about what you think, what she thinks, or what ANYONE thinks in this matter *except* Moredena; had everyone kept their nose out of what they didn't understand or -- here's a thought -- asked first, this wouldn't have started to go out of control. If Moredena asks me to back off of it, I'll absolutely abide by her wishes. But *hers*, not yours nor anyone elses. If you don't like it, tough.

After chatting with Moredena, it seems I not only stepped in it, but stepped in it big time.

Apparently I was receiving signals that I interpreted incorrectly, and even though the comment I made was personal and part of an inside joke, I had no idea that Moredena was feeling uncomfortable.

And I apologize for my remarks and my behavior.

Foxy, LTIO, I'm happy to see Moredena has friends who come to her defense. My apologies to you both as well.
