Speaking of DST, have you seen where Congress, by a unanimous vote, made DST Standard Time?

I knew it went through the Senate, I didn't know if it went through the House yet.

Oh. I didn't think about that. The story I read said it had passed unanimously and I guess I just figured it meant it was the law of the land now. This would be all well and good except that in the middle of winter, here where I live, the sun doesn't rise until around 7:15 EST. Now, the sun won't rise until 8:15 or so. The bad thing is that my job requires me to look at cars OUTSIDE to make sure accessories have been installed properly. Ouch.

Then I think after that it still has to be approved by Joe Brandon, if so this might be the ONE GOOD THING his administration does.
TBH I'd rather have the dark mornings over the dark evenings, during the winter I get to deal with 'eternal darkness' as I call it as I leave in the dark and come home in the dark. But if this passes I'd possibly be coming home with some daylight still remaining which sounds amazing. Granted for some like yourself there will be some downsides but I think it'll be for the better. At the very least I think everyone will be happy with not having to shift the clocks 2x a year and losing that hour of sleep in the spring.

Well, I can't argue with the lack of changing the time.

Well, I can place where all of these were used, with the exception of the vehicles -- which I guess were just some random jots (unless they appear later).

The airplane appeared in the comic, the truck was just a random sketch inspired by some current events (from a few weeks ago)
