Call me Grimlock,… Class A Bounty Hunter, one of the best in the galaxy, I’m strong, tough, fast and smart, and I do what it takes to get the job done. Reinforced flak jacket, body armor, an arsenal of weapons, and yeah, cybernetics. Like I said, I do what it takes to get the job done, and I don’t let anything, or anyone, get in my way.
If you’ve never heard of me, it means you’ve never been on one of my bounty lists, consider yourself fortunate.
If you are on one of my lists, pray you are worth more alive than dead, because I will find you.’

Some of you might recall a picture done by the artist Toughset awhile back, for a sale he did, featuring an old tabletop RPG character I played way back in the day,… well, after that picture, and the nostalgia it brought with it, I decided it was time to get that character out of just my memories and into some artwork.
Meet Grimlock, a cybernetic lizard man bounty hunter from a Scifi RPG game which was kind of a piecemeal me and my friends created using rules and elements from D&D and several other RPGs at the time. In all my years of RPG I’ve never rolled starting stats as well as I did for him, with most of his stats,… Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence,… all being the max they could be at start, and the others not far behind. He started out as cold-hearted, selfish, and trigger-happy, with an alignment somewhere between Chaotic Evil and Neutral Evil, and over the course of the game ended up as stoic, cynical, and trigger-happy, with an alignment somewhere between Neutral Good and Chaotic Good (think like Dirty Harry or similar). He was a character that almost always seemed to power his way through everything that got in his way, with both strength and smarts, and who’s bad side you did not want to be on. Even after all this time, and a lot of other RPGs, he remains the character I loved playing the most, from a game ran for over 6 years, and still holds a special place in my memories.
This amazing reference sheet, created by BAB, shows Grimlock pretty much as he was at the end of the game, after a long, sometimes arduous, road he made it to the top of the bounty hunter ranking, the best gear and weapons at his disposal, some custom made by himself, and a whole galaxy laid out before of him. I really do love the work BAB did visualizing him for me, the detailing on his cybernetics, and the flak jacket that he always seemed to keep with him during the game. The weapon designs BAB created are simply marvelous, and all the detailing is simply magnificent. Truly a very fitting representation of this tough-as-nails bounty hunter.

Oh, indeed, he shot first, last, and however many times in between as were necessary.
He does indeed use force very well.
Hmm, the only time he's every called anything 'Wizard' was an actual Wizard. ;).
He has actually had a bad feeling about this, and at such times he reaches for the big guns and more grenades, those tend to alleviate bad feelings. ;).
He certainly does his best to be so.
Oh, indeed, marvelous work from BAB, and yeah, a much more accurate depiction of Grimlock than his first depiction by Toughset all that time ago. Indeed, glad you think so. :D

Might not have anything to do with half naked jungle girls or quicksand, but he's a few dude that I know you hold close to you're heart. He turned out really great, outfit both looks great and is very protective. Not to mention all the mechanic additions on him, his hair cut and all the lasers showcase that more futuristic design. Plus the pretty straight forward description does defiantly show him being more aggressive and a less friendly type then Ember, which defiantly shows you're skill in writing two different characters. Great stuff!
Oh, indeed, this is definitely a character that means alot to me, and brings back alot of great memories. Yeah, BAB really visualized him very well, and the outfit looks very good, and tough, and he definitely has a futuristic design. Yeah, he was certainly more aggressive and not really the chatty or friendly type, unlike Ember, and thank you, that is very kind of you to say. :). I'm glad you like it.
