Very nice detail in the windswept mane. I dunno if it was intended, but it definitely seems like a firm, steady breeze is brushing all that fur back and the detail is incredible. I mean damn, there's even stray hairs, both at the edge of his mane and even a few falling across his face. You NEVER see that in a picture. That above all makes this, though I also like the patterning on the nose and the shine on the tongue.
And hot damn, those eyes. Them's some baby blues and no mistake there. They've always been good but they're standout here. Your artsyle's really progressed in just the sheer amount of detail you put into things. I dunno what you're doing, but keep doing it!

Thank you very much! You know, I'm always trying to draw these characters that I love, but most of the drawings are never seen because I don't post them, so it makes me sad because I know that I have no talent for this, I just work hard. But when I see someone say "you're doing better", "keep up the good work", or "your art has improved", it makes me feel amazing. I promise I'll keep trying to do better and better, you'll see. And again, thanks for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it.
No talent for it? Lies! I've SEEN the fanart of these characters, there are people posting scribbles. This, dear Lord this might be the best piece of art this character has on the entire internet. I do not flatter there, that is the plain truth. The detail in every aspect, the emotion in the work. Brilliant. Works like this are iconic, and if they're lucky they are recognized as such.
Post everything you do, that's what the Scraps gallery is for if nothing else. There are far less polished works getting far more attention and the fruits of your labors should at least see the light of day.
