As a Chimera Astatine is able to breathe fire. Their claws are retractable and can have varying lengths. Astatine is a trangender male and has ripped off his chest using his claws, leaving very obvious scars and a slightly deformed chest as a result. Bismuth is always hidden among fur unless they are specifically doing a task such as eating. They are quite animalistic and can not speak. Through time Astatine and Bismuth have found ways to work together to survive their situation. In the past Astatine would use Bismuth to self harm by making them bite his body. Astatine also has a history of EDs. As a result his digestive tract and teeth are permanently damaged. He is unable to properly digest food and Astatine's body can only receive nutrition through the digestive tract in Bismuth's body. Nutrients are shared through blood vessels shared by both bodies. Astatine's body still feels hunger cues from time to time which leads to him being very cranky. As for the anatomy of their digestive tract, Astatine would like to comment this: “yeah I've got two *ssholes, what about it!?”. Bismuth still needs to shed their skin from time to time which requires Astatine to sit next to a little bath of sorts, helping Bismuth with the process.
