"They're going into the dark aquarium place so the lighting/shading in the next batch of pages is gonna get weird" This is not weird at all. You did an absolutely superb job at recreating the magic of aquarium lighting - that's what I enjoyed most about aquariums when I was little. That special glow makes you feel like you're exploring a new world yet to be discovered, and it's a great visual metaphor for what Star's currently experiencing.
