A rough piece to bounce off of for later. I don't typically make OCs out of Pokemon themselves, but this was for a Mystery Dungeon idea that, uh, never got off the ground cause of my own incompetence. But, here we are, so figured I'd draw them again. I've drawn them before, but back then, they were just a nameless Gothorita and Kirlia. And as the name implies, both of them are male-don't blame me, blame Gamefreak.

I'll try to tweak their designs some to make them more unique among their species. But for now, it is what it is.

Bryn the Kirlia is the archetypal brat. If he wants something, he's gonna go and get it. He's already fairly strong, despite his stage in life, but with youth comes arrogance and his lack of experience tends to do him in when battling. He's got aspirations of becoming a powerful Gardevoir like his mother, and is probably the most likely candidate out of his siblings, but had to run away from home since, as a male, it was his 'duty' to become a Gallade by the laws of the community his mother ran. Thankfully, Sage is there to encourage him he can be whoever he wants to be. Unfortunately, Bryn chose to be a brat.

Sage the Gothorita is rather shy and meek. But he's also very smart and can be very sneaky when he wants to be. Where Bryn goes, Sage will follow, and will happily get into whatever mischievous his Kirlia friend will guide him to. At random times, Sage will have visions of the future, something he's always had even as a Gothita. Deciphering these flashes, however, isn't his strong suit. Sometimes, they're warnings of things to come, and sometimes, trying to avoid these fates are what leads them into trouble. Nonetheless, Bryn has faith in him, so that inspires him to keep trying.
