You all probably know what's happening in Ukraine. I feel like it's a safe bet that if you've got access to my gallery, you have access to a news source that's been covering it. So why did I draw this?
From stories I've seen, it looks like the government over there is cracking down on media and trying to spin their actions in a positive light in their country. There are people online who have been trying to get the real news of what's happening to Russian citizens. The most common I've heard is in restaurant reviews on Google, leaving so many stars and mixing Ukraine happenings into the message.
I tried to think of how I might be able to help this effort. My biggest voice is in the furry community so maybe some art could float over. While not as publicly seen as Google reviews, I hope this might fly under the radar of those trying to stop the message. I did a little research and found that Gadget Hackwrench is really popular over there. So here it goes!
To those defending Ukraine, your courage and strength have been incredible. I hope you are all okay and get to rest safely soon.

Agreed. I understand why Putin wanted to do it, but this wasn't the action he should have taken. He could've used his economic leverage to get the results he wanted, but he decided on the worst option that is gonna fuck with the rest of us.
All in all, a bunch of political bullshit with corrupt fuckheads behind every wheel right now. America gonna pump more weapons, a ton of money sent to Ukraine is gonna line some pockets of everyone, and so much more dumbness.
I highly suggest don't donate to large funds to help support Ukranians, look for smaller campaigns to help the people directly. Do not attack Russian businesses or Russian people, they are just as upset about this as Americans were for the constant Middle East conflicts.

Is there a way to confirm smaller campaigns as legitimate? I personally have a fear of donating to places that just scam money during a crisis and run. What are some good small campaigns you'd recommend?

Not many places I can say you can trust beyond giving money directly in person. Mostly look for people you can contact directly showing they have been upheaved from their home or sometime during the recovery they can buy supplies to help if you wanna be sure.
I'd help find some... but donating in my country has become somewhat of an issue that isn't worth a flame war here.
For now, Stay away from donating anything managed by large corporations or governments because it will never go to the people in these types of scenarios.
