Hensley's Character List for Skin to Scales Part 3
I'll be updating the last two today while I have some time on the internet. Then I'll get back to doing some other stuff.
I will say and state this again before you proceed any further. I like to give my characters icons so I can use them as quick reference sheets. I feel it's easier to write down and create a character once you get a good look at their face. Skin to Scales has so many different personalities and people coming from different backgrounds that it can be rough keeping track of them all. So that's why I make icons for most of the important characters who are in the setting. Some don't have icons yet, and some I still have old versions back from 2020 I still use in case a character gets updated or not. Here you will still see several characters from previous and even upcoming sheets as their designs got updated or I improved as an artist.
Another thing I want to say and give a thank you to my many co-writers who help me work on the setting whenever I have free time. That being DuckPuncher (who I usually refer to as Varik), Malbutorious, Rodney (Who won't stop changing his name so I'll forever call him Rodney to his dismay), ArtisticBulbmin, and Whitegroth. Mal always helps me out with the mythology side of things, Varik helps me write the faceless side of things, Rodney helping out with evolution and goblin lore, Charles and his crew that he's written in and Whitegroth helping expand out the technological side of the setting.
With that out of the way, let me introduce you to this batch of characters. I will tell the arc that they were introduced in, if they perished and are no longer part of the current timeline of the setting, who they are, the likes and giving a small biography on each. I'll only be giving out breadcrumbs and the need-to-know information for now.
Thank you for reading, you are all truly wonderful.
Aaron: (Rewrite in Progress)
Ghetto Knight and Kobold Squire: Introduced in Ultrinian War: Two extremely magical and outlandish heroes who are out of this realm. Claiming to be the great grandson of Thomza and hero of every merit. He is assisted by Kobold Squire to stop the fiendish forces from Dr. Evil Bad and save all the princesses in the land! He can be seen usually getting into strange antics and stealing Derick’s car. The goblins of this universe seemingly see him as some sort of benevolent God.
Walter: (Rewrite in progress.) mostly used as the foil for Derick. A sentient and talking cat that seemingly follows him around.
Derick: Eh, he was in the last one. You'll figure it out.
Epsilon: introduced in Ultrinian War: A combat droid that was heavily modified by Betzalel. He was given more emotion and was equipped with a commander chip for giving out orders. However, he was not built to last and now suffers from encroaching problems such as his mental state.
The Immortals: (Rewrite in Progress) Units who constantly put themselves back together again and are classified as engineers
Huntley’s Battle Helmet: simply an alternate version of Huntley’s main art where his helmet is on. This gives him a HUD and a targeting system he can use
Mimin Scuttle Engineers: Introduced in Mimin War: Soldiers from the Mimin War who defected onto Captain PiK’s side. This squadron is composed mostly of runts and act as engineer units for their respected squads. Such as being able to deploy field structures and repair vehicles on the battlefield. Same goes with being able to detect mines and refilling ammunition.
Kelly Materia: Introduced in Ultrinian War: One of the very first of Thomza’s Kobold Chosen to join his ranks. Kelly was once a Seer Queen who decided that she wanted to live a less pampered lifestyle. Switching places with one of her servants and with meddling from the church... She was exiled and even practically imprisoned for her trying to get out of her deeds. She would then be visited by Thomza who would eventually set her free. There she would join his ranks as a battle maid and eventually become a part of Tia.
Seraphina Mourning Star: Introduced in Boars of War: One of the great Demon Queen’s from hell and rules alongside Hunter Star. She was once known as one of Hunter’s best friends before deciding to marry down the line.
Shelly, Alphie and Soul: Introduced in Boars of War and Ultrinian War: Some of Hunter’s kids, this being one of the only exceptions of me drawing younger characters... Alphie being able Ultrinian, Shelly a Royal Imp, and Soul being... Whatever he is
Charles: Introduced in Mimin War: One of Captain PiK’s friends who lives out in the distant tundras of Planet Materia. Usually helping out with the various vehicles and inventions that were deployed during the Mimin War arc. Even now he helps with the infrastructure of Bayshore.
Rusty and Turret: (Rewrite In Progress.)
Chaos: Commander Proto’s wife and a biologist who actually has a degree in the setting. Seemingly a creature of woe and mystery as she is a mandrake of course. Let's just say something went wrong in the lab and she's messed up like this. Only for now until the full talk of the story is released.
Diskly and Barbarick: (Rewrite In Progress.)
Dang, if you got to the end of this? After reading all of that? You have my thanks! I worked really hard on this and can't wait to do some more! Have a good one everybody!
