As many if not all of you know, the Russian Federation at 0500 on February 24th 2022 Eastern Europe Standard Time launched a combined arms offensive into Ukraine underclaims of a "Special Military Operation" to "Demilitarize" and "Denazify" the nation. It is now Day 5 of the WAR and currently the city of Kyiv is undergoing fighting in its suburbs, Kharkov has been giving the Russian forces stiff resistance, Mariupol is under near constant bombardment, and the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republic make slow and little gains in the east. Nearly every major nation has condemned the Russian Federation for this unprovoked WAR including nations that would seem to be its ally such as the Peoples Republic of China and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Many of Europe's nations have closed off its airspace to any aircraft from Russia, the ruble has lost value (going from 0.013 cents per USD to 0.010 per USD) and a wide array of sanctions from all over the world have been implemented on the Russian Federation. All the while all over the world people protest against the war and against Russian Federation president Vladimir Putin with the hashtags #PleaseNoWar and other similar being spread around, I personally feel that whole heartedly

THESE PEOPLE DO NOT GRASP THE SITUATION

This is not a political agenda that you can vote for, this is not a civil rights movement that you can write your congressman to change his mind on a civil rights bill, this is not a highschool where you can petition the principle to bring back Taco Tuesday... this is WAR, Putin will not, and never will, listen to Protests in Berlin, Paris, Warsaw, Prague, DC, Ottawa, or London, he will only listen to 2 things, protests in his cities of Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, and Novorossiysk and the lose of his troops in Ukraine. He will never listen to sanctions and economic slaps on the wrist, he won't listen to the tanking Ruble, he won't listen to the United Nations meetings, he'll only listen to the sound of his tanks burning, jets getting shot down, and the sound of gunfire from the people of Ukraine.

If you were getting beaten up everyday by a bully in school and the student body said "We condemn these actions by the bully and we hear that you want to join the student body council for protection, but we wont let you join as it would aggravate the bully, the best we can do is give you money to get yourself a helmet so it doesn't hurt as much" you'd say "this is stupid, that wont stop him from beating me up" It's the same here, just telling him to stop won't help, asking for the WAR to stop is too late, it is here and it is happening, it's not too late to pick up a rifle and buy tickets to Europe and join for those who can, if you can't fight, you can drive ambulances, provide aide and care to those who can fight. You can help make Molotovs and Czech Hedgehogs, you can provide intel on troop movements, you can shelter fighters, you can make food and give water to those fighting, you can help in an uncountable amount of ways. If you can't go over seas you can donate money, and if you are a pacifist or refuse to fight, you can actually do one form of protest to help, call for expanded military support, rally around your flag in a call to arms to help, let Russia know we are ready and willing to fight, that we are and will standing up to Tyranny.

Putin sees the current protests in the west and only thinks one thing and one thing only "They don't want to fight, it will make invading them easier"

Do not let Ukraine go silent into this Goodnight, Do Not let Ukraine Fall, Do Not Stand Idly By. We have spoken softly, and it got Ukraine invaded, now it is time to use our Big Stick. So please, as much as I understand the want for the WAR to end, do not post a Ukrainian with the Russian flag and Russian with Ukrainian flag hugging or holding hands, the people that matter about making the big decisions won't listen to those pictures, they will only listen to defiance and resistance to Russian Tyranny through hard actions and clenched fists.
