Hey, back again with the RogueDoodles art for another character of mine! It's been a while since I've posted anything, so let's shake off some of the rest.
This time, I'm delving back into my pokemon Trainer OCs.
Grae and Eme are something like twins, or mirrors in my mind, simply because the two of them are somewhat similar in their origin, born with their abilities, in contrast to some of the others in this little group. They even have the same name, just a different 'common' name. Grae, being the first half of Graeme (pronounced as Graham), and Eme being the latter.
Of course, they still do look different. Eme having solid purple hair more like his mother without Grae's silvered tends, and rather than a tail, he grew his own scalchop that with training he managed to refine into a saber, later two sabers, he summons at will. Plus, retractable webbing between his digits and the ability to breath under water.
I suppose the last major difference is in how they perceive the world. Eme lacks Grae's innate ability to sense relationships and potential personality bonds. Instead, Eme's naturally Aura-sensitive. It's curious that he seems to be water-fighting type despite the more indirect connection he has with his father.
Eme doesn't mind though. Aside from him not knowing Grae at all, them being alternates of each other (aside from those one off storyverses where the lot of them are siblings), Eme found a different path in life. His ability to shift between human and pokemon forms aside, he's a battle nut, and loves little else more than a good fight. As in, him actually in the ring fighting. He's a moderately successful star in Martial Arts tournaments. Specifically competitions where humans and pokemon a like can find themselves in the ring. Without or without his swords, he's not one to be taken lightly.
Also, the rumours that Eme is the product of his mother artificially inseminating herself with the seed from her genderbent self... are totally not supported in any official regard. Greene will fight anyone that brings it up.

Thanks :) And yeah, it makes sense doesn't it? Humans in the setting do very abnormal things themselves, and pokemon are at least as smart as children at worse. It just seems naturally fitting in the world. Pokemon Battling might be mainstream, but other 'sports' are popular too XD
