DAZ has something called 'Dirty Dishes' & 'Dirty Dishes Food And Drink Expansion' which gives you a number of meals at several stages of being eaten, perfect for what was left behind when the captain called a drill while others were feeding their faces. Non-Stew and non-Cindy look at the mess left behind. I included some of the full as well as partly eaten meals ...

Well, it's a good thing that the galley comes equipped with several statis fields in order to keep the food warm and ready for when the others get back to their food. Otherwise, I'm sure Susan would be rather ticked off at the ship's Captain for ruining her latest meals!
Perhaps hunting down some rare and 'HOT' spices to teach him another lesson?

I know but he'd still go for the corn. Heck my old Husky Wolf mix demanded corn on the cob. Dad was trying to eat some and Shandi was fussing at him. Dad asked her " You want this?" And held the corn at her level. She started eating it off of the cob, dad rotated it for her. After that we had make sure we cooked an extra on for her.
The base program is free and comes with a few figures/outfits/props to get you started.
And it's like playing with dolls only on the computer. Make a scene/backdrop (lots of ways to make simple ones if you need them), dress(that includes adding hair) your doll, position/pose (unlike real dolls these will stay where you leave them - even in midair). Add lights, point a camera and snap your masterpiece! (or in my case cause people to say 'WTF?' )
Now, how much of a computer will determine how complex a scene you have room for and how long it might take to render the picture. See some of my scraps, I show some of the 'fun' I've had trying to get DAZ to do what I wanted.
Either way, good luck and keep doing that art thing.
