I bet we all already cyborgs. I bet we all use enhancements to your natural abilities. Like glasses to see better, electronic communication devices to speak further, and the Internet to extend our memory bank. So what would happen if our enhancements suddenly became non-functional? Just a thought for today.
If curious, there is some background information.
April Tatro played the human version of the shapeshifter Isis. Isis was the cat companion/coworker of Supervisor Gary Seven in the episode "Assignment Earth" from 1968 Star Trek. Gary Seven was and advanced human sent from the future to help Earth survive our nuclear age. The episode was intended to be a starting point for a Star Trek spin off. But the spin off never happened.

Now you raised my curiosity. I did a quick search and I think I have the answer. {1} no one wanted to put up the funds for a pilot. {2} Assignment Earth deviated from the Star Trek concept. Star Trek was about sociology and species interaction. Most of what I have just read indicates Assignment Earth show would be about solving one crisis after another, with limited story line devoted to other story line elements.
