Anyway, I am not so much into reptiles, personally i prefer furry pets - soft to the touch and i haven't heard a sound as soothing as a purring cat.

He really does. When we take him out, he'll just sit on me like this for hours if I let him. Unless he gets bored. :P Probably the warmth, but it's still cute c:

I'd take a reptile over a mammal any day :P I've mostly had negative experiences with warm-blooded pets, though. There's something about a reptile that no other domestic animal has, I just can't explain it!

You are welcome. And yes i can understand your opinion. If i have had similar experiences with mammals i might think differently, too. Yet my Cat has been with me for over ten years now - during some of the hardest times in my life and i love her to bits.

I understand yours too, though :) My very first pet was a cat, and she was great. However, after I moved out I ended up with two cats, and pretty much all they did was scratch up things, pee and poop everywhere (even though the litter box was always clean), break things, and hiss at me. They were both neutered, too. Oi! Also had some bad times with guinea pigs...that's when I gave up on mammals, haha.

*chuckles* understandable... Well Luzi likes to tease me by scratching stuff every now and then when i'm not lookin.. In general however she conducts herself quite nicely And if she happens to be noisy during the night she gets a "cuddle-penalty" being grabbed and cuddled until she calms down again ^^

Yup. I can not be mad at animals - at least not for long. They are simply too cute. Plus i am not a violent but a gentle being - what means that i do not hurt anyone - human or animal unless my very life is at stake. Frankly i have a gut dislike for people beating up their pets or abandoning them...

I can't stand that, man :/ I've been FURIOUS with my ex-roommate's cat when he almost killed two of my animals, but even at the worst of times, I could never hurt another animal. Several of my reptiles are neglected adopts, so it makes me feel good knowing they're escaping such awful care. But also sad that it happens at all, y'know? :/

I couldn't agree more. My own cat has been ill-treated before she came to me, too

Absolutely. He's gotten much more mellow now that he's in the cage...which is exactly the opposite of what I expected might happen. He's so relaxed when he comes out, it's just great :]
