not listing the artist for privacy reasons.
when i posted artwork of my Miki OC 8 months ago, i had written in the description that i had actually commissioned QS artwork of her years ago, when i "created the character on a whim".

well, this was the artwork i was referring to.

the artist had written on his profile several years ago that he would be taking a hiatus to pursue IRL interests.
despite that, i had been patiently waiting and also eagerly awaiting his return, especially since there haven't been many good artists I could find recently that I could commission for this sort of artwork.

well, i don't want to get into it, but long story short, he is moving away from the internet for good for his own well-being

words cannot describe how absolutely crushed i am by this. the artist was damn near excellent for what it's worth and it certainly would've brought me a lot of happiness if he came back, as his artstyle would've been the perfect fit for the many QS ideas that I've been wanting to commission.

i had already been feeling shitty lately due to the lack of artists i can commission, but this essentially just made things worse for me. i don't know how else to react...

well, as i've written earlier, i'm not listing the artist's name for his own privacy, but at the very least I do want to post the one picture he did for me as a way of remembering him i guess.

for the record, i'm placing this in my scraps folder since this is an outdated representation of my Miki OC and does not truly portray how she should really look like (visually speaking).
