Gene is outside his classroom and away from the other kids at recess since they all teased him for not being potty trained yet. While there a bee floats over to him and he gets a gut feeling to put his hands around them. Suddenly a bubble of light appears around the bee from his hands and a singular slider appears. This is how he creates his lifelong friend, a hyper evolved bee, and learns of the power he has.
*Update* I am changing his name to Gene due to Hingry being kind of a dumb name that everyone gets wrong anyway.
