A long time in the making, but finally unveiled! A commission of skunk sisters

Claire_laMouf as the greatest band to come out of Manchester in the nineties.
(Good city for rock. Not just Oasis, but Stone Roses, and the Smiths, and Van der Graaf Generator... yeah, I'm that bitch who listens to Van der Graaf. I'm a sucker for any band I can describe as "the evil Pink Floyd." Or "what church music will sound like after God dies.")
What was I talking about? Oh yeah. YOU GOT TO ROLL WITH IT...
Fun facts section!
*A glorious experiment with not only my usual dyes, but some new Christmas poscas I got to use to flesh out the crowd.
*Viv's parka, the green, took so many coats of dye to get right that the paper almost fell apart.
*I experimented with actually caricaturing Noel and Liam as the two of them, but that fell apart so fast after I tried.
*This is one of the most fun things I've drawn in ages. Prompt was "go hog."
*I had this all sketched out, then one of them gave me a CD of their performance at Knebworth '96 for Christmas, and the gatefold is their stage, at this exact ange. So I had to quick revise the stage monitors. There's still artistic license.
*Goo goob g'joob.
*Claire-as-Noel was, in sketches, playing the oft-disputed E7/G# (420100 in standard tuning) underneath the line "Take that look from off your face", but that was a finer resolution than my brush can make. What song do you think they're playing now?
This is one of the most meshuggah things I've ever drawn. Thanks so much.
