Rimba Racer is an absolutely great show. I never thought that something with kid-show-esque overly vibrant colors would such an engaging and dramatic story. So much so, to show my love for this hidden gem of a cartoon… I did another damn crossover pic again. This time with the cast of the cartoon if they were seen in Kamen Rider Drive, so there’s that.
I very well know about the name being taken already, but I couldn’t resist. Torres. Torque. It’s a best match. Torque is our first Kamen Rider to utilize the Mach Driver, instead of the DriveDriver. And plus, instead of using Shift Cars in the system, it utilizes the power of Signal Bikes. Torque’s base form is accessed through her main Signal Bike, simply called “Rider Torque.” It’s a standard base form Signal Bike which can make Torque herself 1.5x faster than Type Speed, and makes her much more flexible in a fight. (Which isn’t saying much because Torres is a naturally gifted fighter.)
Instead of Tire Change Shift Cars being used with Kamen Riders who use the Mach Driver, they use Signal Change Signal Bikes, which gives the Rider a secondary power-up alongside the main body. An example of this would be Signal Toosan (meaning escape or exit, relating to the EXIT sign on highways). Signal Toosan allows Torque to create two linked portals, and can pass through them. Usually used as a getaway tactic, Signal Toosan can summon a portal anywhere so that Torque can instantly escape whatever kind of huffy she’s in.
Then there’s Torque’s Full Throttle. Normally, Torres doesn’t participate in the RGP (after all, she’s King’s assistant), but she does have a motorbike of her own; the Batsuken. When Torres activates her Full Throttle, she gets onto her bike, does a wheelie, and launches the Batsuken’s front tire towards the target. When the target is completely disoriented from the tire being hit at them, Torque reverses her bike with her back now facing towards the target, backflips off of the bike, and finishes the target with her bite-based Rider Kick.
