What!? Daily uploads, heck yeah, let's see how long I can keep this up ya know?

This time, we got well... an Xcom UFO Defense inspired image. For when an enemy takes their turn in the dark and out of your range of sight. The inspirations are pretty painfully obvious, and so are the two Mandrakes whose origins are still pretty close to Pikmin. However, I still feel every image I draw them in, the more and more I can put them away from their inspiration. Just their looks are still mostly the same. I will eventually have to write up a bunch of lore stuff for the mandrakes in full. Like, I already have some of it written down, but... I want too of course have it all in just one big thing.

So, the world Proto and Chaos come from? I'd say it's closer to a tactical and horror experience. Fighting off spirits, cryptids and even mythological monsters that go bump in the night. Mostly focusing on a full survival experience if anything else... Anything more for me to say? Nah, not really, kind of like the plasma gun I drew though. I'm a sucker for "Retro" space if anyone couldn't tell. Just a doodle to get my day going before I have to do anything more. I sometimes feel my doodle art style is meshing with a few others that I do... and I think that's a good thing? I also tried to keep it pretty close to the same box resolution of the original... like as in dimensions, not the actual resolution dear goodness.
