If you couldn’t tell from my prior photos, the Fanner Exosphere electric ukulele is based on the well-known Fender Stratocaster guitar. Like the Strat, this uke has three single-coil pickups wired through a five-position selector switch. You can see that switch between the tone and volume control knobs. Also visible in this shot are the tremolo bar, maple neck, and wenge fretboard.
The photo gallery on the Fanner Guitar Works web site shows off some beautiful paint schemes. I loved the classic look of this one in Sonic Blue with its white/black/white three-layer pick guard.
