A Meeting With An Old... Friend?
Lucius III casually took a sip of the tea in front of him. It had a nice minty taste to it that was one of his favourite flavors of tea.
"Say Zeana, haven't you gone a bit soft lately? What happened to the zebra that used to give even me a row on how to behave?" Lucius III said as he chuckled. "Honestly, Banana Stable? How did such a silly idea become a thing?"
Zeana sat on opposite him and as she clenched her knuckles, you would start to wonder if they would grow whiter than even her natural white fur.
"You know very well that I've moved on from what I was back then." Zeana said through gritted teeth. "The Banana Stable has given me something I didn't have back then; a home for those who are lacking one, a family that you can rely on through thick and thin. Now, how about you stop wasting my time and get to the point on why you wanted us to meet here!"
Lucius III grinned widely. "Feisty as ever, I see. Well then, let's talk business!" he said as he put down the mug. "Truth be told, I miss having you around. Things were so much more fun back when you stayed at my place. Abandon your little silly project and come to your senses. Don't you miss the adrenaline of making those beneath you obey every single order or command?"
Zeana just stared at the charcoal-coloured stallion. "Is that all?" she said and then started to stand up from the chair, clearly done with it all. "We aren't teenagers anymore. I may have felt powerful back then but it's time to grow up!" Zeana grabbed the now empty glass of daiquiri and put it on the bar behind her before turning back to Lucius III one last time. "Don't contact me again if you're gonna hold on to your backwards ideals." She said before turning back on her heels and exiting the café as the last thing she saw was Lucius III giving her a sinister grin.
