And So It's 2026... (G)

Happy New Year everyone and a happy 2026!



2025 was a year for me that had both its ups and downs for me, both IRL and here on the internet as well.

I've learned some stuff about myself, explored new horizons and have dared to do stuff I would've never thought of doing 5 years ago.

At the same time have I've also started to learn my limits, feeling the need to take care of my health better, and get better sleep as I feel older and older for each day that passes.



Meanwhile online, I've felt a bit... sluggish.

During 2025, I've uploaded 62 beautiful art pieces made by wonderful artists.

It's still more than my internal goal of at least 52 for the year, but I also know that I'm rarely uploading on Wednesdays anymore.

I also know that I skipped some Sundays, whether it was because of vacation, or simply because I needed a few breaks.

And trust me, every time this happens, I feel bad because routine is so important to me. There's no one more disappointed than I every time I'm not keeping up with my own schedule.

I sadly have no upload related to New Years this year, with Christmas being hectic and work taking a toll on me.

I've also been sick the last couple of days after Christmas so I haven't really gotten as much done as I've wanted to have done.

But, I will try to get the usual Summary of 2025 done and uploaded on this Sunday. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but for me personally, it's an upload I always look forward to since it gives me another reason to praise all the wonderful artists I've worked with over the year.

And it's always fun looking through the memory lane, remembering where I was in life during the last 12 months.



What's next for 2026? Honestly, no clue.

However, I do want to put up a small roadmap on what my own goals on this page on FA will be.

If you have a goal that you want, or that you think sounds fun, feel free to comment as well.

I'm planning to keep up with this roadmap for 2026 as well during future journals and I'm looking forward to hear what your own goals for the year will be.
