I sort of combined the "broken vertebrae/jaw" verses in the second panel. The way my Dad used to sing it was:
"He kissed me as we parted,
So hard that he broke my jaw;
I could not speak to tell him
He'd forgot his mackinaw."
Also, since 'Trep never wears clothes anyway, ("WHAT vest?") that verse seemed redundant.
