Of course there isn't a right or wrong way to spend or celebrate Christmas, but when I think of Christmas I think of the simple things with family and warmth. Just settling down and away from the rest of obligations enough to enjoy time together and slow down for a change. So I saved this one for Christmas. Because it had that vibe to me.


The premise is Sky spontaneously having decided one of the decorations needs to be in a different place--and about taking the tree out in the process. Cirrus is standing by, partially amused, partially concerned, and also there to protect him from himself if things get out of hand. In the meantime he's holding his mug for him while he attacks the tree.


A lot of thought went into the choices of this pic. The designs of the mugs for example. Sky's is rather colorful/cutesy and festive. Cirrus' is a lot more subdued. I considered making the tree multi color or more random, homely in decorations but ultimately decided that since Zephyrus pack is known for being rather sophisticated when it comes to the fine arts, it'd make sense for them to have a tree that reflected more of a classy style.


And finally, their outfits. I made Sky's a mix of colorful (the sleeves) but also kind of designerly (black and white tree). Since he's a model of sorts, and also rather playful and immature/childish, I blended the two ideas into something that felt fitting.


His boyfriend on the other hand, Cirrus, quite likely would have no interest or desire in dressing up Christmasy. However he likes Sky a lot so I imagine he'd give in on account of not wanting to ruin Sky's fun. Plus if he gets to match in some capacity…well that plays into his whole 'this is mine, don't touch' jealousy over relationship status with Sky. So he has a more subtle designed shirt but I assure you Sky is absolutely the only one he'd do it for.
