'The snowfall has ceased in it's downpour sometime before the twilight came, blanketing the small, quaint towns and vast forests in white blankets of cold that would last long into the next day. Lights of red and green, and of blue and gold, glowed with life with the rising of the moon, decorating a particular small brick and timber beamed town in festive light. Folks from all around strolled down the packed snow paths, peering into shop windows stocked merrily with foods and gifts for all who stepped inside. Slowly the night moved as the old bell tower clock tolled above. Time seemed to move slower then usual, as if it too wanted to revel in the holiday cheer for as long as possible.'
I hope everyone has had a lovely winter and enjoyed all the holidays! I adore this season so much, I'm a sucker for the classic Christmas, and this gift from Sei was honestly the cherry, or in this case the sugar plume, on top! I'm listening to the old classics as I write this, smelling the turkey in the oven while craving a home made peppermint patter and wondering what dessert I'll make from the baking book my parents got me. I'm sure I could have done more this season, but I'm content till next year rolls around: getting presents for friends and literally baking up a storm while working at my new job as an intern. I hope you all enjoy the rest of this year with friends or family.
