Rimba Racer is an absolutely great show. I never thought that something with kid-show-esque overly vibrant colors would such an engaging and dramatic story. So much so, to show my love for this hidden gem of a cartoon… I did another damn crossover pic again. This time with the cast of the cartoon if they were seen in Kamen Rider Drive, so there’s that.
For the first time in this small picture series, I actually give you a base Kamen Rider form that uses a canon Type Change Shift Car as a base form: Type Wild. This, of course, belongs to buddy-bear Sonny. AKA, Kamen Rider Barrage. Type Wild is like Type Pyro, except it’s less… explode-y and relies more on brute strength. Knowing Barrage, he’s not one to give out strength, especially if it’s for someone else.
Like with all Riders, there is a tire attached somewhere on the body, with can be changed out with Tire Change Shift Cars to act as a secondary power alongside the main body. Because it’s the first Tire Change Shift Car that is useful with Type Wild, I drew Barrage with the Rumble Dump Shift Tire (based on a dump truck). A Shift Car that gives a Rider a drill attachment as a weapon, and a variety on earth-based attacks.
Barrage’s Full Throttle is a bit a weird one, as it doesn’t involve his car of choice, the Boomboxer, that much. Barrage jumps onto the hood of his car, while the Boomboxer drives towards its target. When the time is just right, Barrage jumps off, and when he’s over his target of choice, he slams both his feet into the target with incredible force, creating a sort of sonic-boom effect when the target craters the ground.
