Does anyone know who the author is that wrote the story about the ancient origins of the savage and barbaric game of Golf?
The story went that Golf originated as a reenactment of a vicious battle where one leader used his long handled club to knock the head of the enemy leader clean off his shoulders, across the grassy battlefield, and into a gopher hole.
