Look what arrived on my doorstep this evening!
I did not think it would be delivered until Monday.
So cool having a classic synth sound. Now I just need to learn how to dial it in. Got some rudimentary bleeps and bloops form this, and of course playing with the build in filter is soooo nice. I never got the opportunity to play on my Dad's Model D when he had an original (I was too young), but I'm familiar with what it can do. This thing is pretty faithful to the sound. I'm really looking forward to exploring it!

I now have two of the Behringer model D, I just picked up a second one because it was on sale at Sweetwater.
I considered getting a Moog Werkstatt, but with the model D being only $40 more, I couldn't see getting the Moog.
To get it stable, give it at least a half hour or an hour powered on before us, as it will slightly shift pitch as it warms up. Of course, I'm sure you have the same issue with your eurorack gear. :)
I will have the two model D and a Behringer Cat in a single three skiff rack (the Cat is very similar to the Arp Odyssey, except for ring mod). I also picked up a second Neutron, to go in another three rack with a Pro-1.
The Neutron is much more of a modular synth than the D, but the sound of the D is so distinctive... I enjoy them both.
The module I've had the most fun with lately is an Expert Sleepers ES-8, so I can interface VCV rack with my eurorack gear... lots of possibilities.
Using the ext-in and filter CV in on your model D, you can use the D's filter / amp with your other gear, that distinctive Moog style 24db ladder filter is so good.

Cool! Thanks for the suggestions. I had not immediately realized that I could use the D filter section independently. The reason I picked this one up right now was because it was on sale (I think it was nearly 40% off!).
I still have not pulled the trigger on a CV interface. There are so many out there, I just can't decide which one would suit my needs. I had my eye on the ES-9, but it comes with a large price tag.

Price is why I went with the ES-8. Also, availability was also a factor... I bought mine through Perfect Circuit, and the ES-9 wasn't in stock (neither are in stock right now). The ES-9 has some great features though.
I've heard it's possible to mod some USB audio interfaces to do DC coupling, along with an ASIO driver. Some even support DC coupling out of the box, Sweetwater has a page detailing which ones do:

Looks like some cheap USB audio interfaces can be modded for DC coupling too, but wouldn't have real-time audio support: http://www.whence.com/soundcard-dc-dac/
