This started out as an attempt to draw Stu as dressed up by Anne, which didn't come out at all the way I wanted, because I suck at fashion. But it evolved into a what-if-ey type thing with Eve getting to meet Sue in the "flesh" for the first time, so at least something nice came out of it :)

An interesting question. In Eve's case it'd be because she chose for it to look that way, but in the event that there were multiple people transformed into clockwork automata like Stu, it wouldn't be surprising for there to be a range of different shapes and finishes/decorations.
