Wow, powerful stuff. A litte depressing, though I think that's kind of the point. It's the sobering realization that there's sometimes nothing you can do.

I noticed that you put Zig Zag as two words, whereas when I write for the character I always listed it as one, though I guess that's author's choice. ;)

I've never been a huge fan of James Bruner's story because I kind of feel it's too off model to be considered 'accurate', but I did like this.

I noticed also that you named her brother max, whereas I know of course (and this is perhaps something you chose to change) that her siblings names are Brandy and I think Brad? I'd have to look it up. I've actually planned stories with all three, though they never managed to get that far in actual production. I had my interpretation of ZigZag's sister drawn once, I don't know if you've ever seen it. :)

Well Max BlackRabbit has her name as two words on his 'official' website, so that's what I used.

I recall asking Max once, and I'm fairly sure the brother is Brad and I know for a fact she has a sister named Brandy, who's just an inverted skunk. Of course, my version of her ended up having ice powers and being a singer, but it all worked in the universe I had. :) Brandy was a lot of fun. :) I had Brad be the 'normal' guy, so he had one sister who was in porn and one who was a pop star. :) He just worked in an office. ;)
