It's fast, it's maneuverable, it's powered by a turbofan engine. If you're a cocky fighter pilot this is the ship you want to fly. The decades have been hard on these high performance craft, so their numbers are few. This likely something you would find on The Rangnor.

When I read Dune way back I and some others imagined their ornithopters as being bird-like, so I decided for my universe they would be dragonfly-like. Not going to deny that the new movie and its designs didn't get me back into drawing these though.
