I would say that image looks great, It does not really need to look like character from some Sonic SatAM cartoon, even if those characters of that cartoon and and yours are not the same, it really does not matter!
I say a wolf can look like anyway you want to make them, and this Wolf is the best you made, So don't let anyone get to you, furry character are not to be the same and your Sonic styles are great.
