One morning, Rath found a note stuck to the door to his dojo: a formal challenge penned by one Ryuugan, who introduced himself as a fellow master of karate. Time and location were also specified.

Never one to turn down a challenge from anybody, Rath made his way to the location in question, and found his challenger already waiting for him: a bright orange eastern dragon with an imposing physique of his own, possibly even bigger than the martial arts teacher himself. What followed was a lengthy fight, and Ryuugan turned out to be a more than formidable opponent, managing to land several hits of his own, but his slow strikes and plentiful openings eventually led to his defeat.

Still, he succeeded in the most important thing: leaving Rath with a sense of immense satisfaction. Each of them found themselves a new training partner that day.
