It's a rough life for mice in a particular apartment. A run-down place to begin with, no one has moved in for months, and the mice living in the walls have been scraping for scraps each day of their lives.

After months with barely any food or helpful assistance from a taller
companion, one curious fellow has decided to rent the apartment and has just moved in. It worked for his struggling income budget in his busy life.

The mice, hungry for a miracle, have set their eyes on the cat in hopes that he could be the key to their lack of rations. It took just two days for them to discover that the cat is only a sham who spends barely any time at the apartment and never purchases groceries.

The second night the cat returned, the mice grew suspicious of a familiar scent that lingered the air. Tracing the whereabouts of said scent, they have found themselves at the feet of the cat, who had passed out on the couch.

Desperate for answers, and believing he knows where the scent could be coming from, they secure him and begin an investigation.

"Cheese" they believed he was hiding, and his paws hinted at this. The cat cannot help but wake up to the ticklish pokes of noses on his feet and slowly discover that the answer they were looking for was something that he would, embarrassingly, regret telling them.

Apparantly, he can't hide the truth for long being how ticklish he is. Perhaps he's thinking about changing his socks more often?
