Tanu welcomed the sweet embrace of slumber. On the best of days, bartending is an involved affair; bartending at the Bent Tail was its own beast. As she performed her nightly stretches to keep her muscles limber, she looked over at the colossal mound of brown protruding out of the sea of blue sheets. The tannish husky currently splayed out on the bed was none other than her partner, Hund, who seemed equally eager to rest. As a bouncer, the hefty hound had the worst end of customer relations, but fortunately, he was built for the job. Despite her weariness, Tanu couldn’t help but smile at her partner’s well-muscled form. His naturally flexed arms raised the peaks of his bulky arms and complemented his broad dependable shoulders and chest. Despite the foreboding aura, Hund portrayed in the waking hours, there was a cuddliness to him that few could see. Tanu watched as Hund’s round dome of a stomach rose and fell with every slight breath the husky took. Despite Hund’s insecurities with this area, Tanu enjoyed the soft pudgy protrusion that covered her boyfriend’s solid core. She could watch it all night; Hund’s lumbering form, usually tense with distrust with the world, now melted into a form so approachable and cuddly. A yawn signaled to her that perhaps she’d better rest; she decided to accompany Hund in the world of dreams.
