Another surprise gift art from the lovely Emberwolfsart, inspired by my little ficlet called "An Evening With Father And Daughter."
Balto and Aleu's relationship is one I respect a lot and truly wish there was more of, I hold it close to my heart because you can really feel whats going on in Balto's mind, not wanting his daughter to go through what he did, "Being different is painful" be damned. Aleu may have been a bratty child at the start but her instinctive attitude mixed with curiosity as to where she belongs in the world (with "who am I?" not really being needed at all) is one I personally can relate too.
So here we have father and daughter having a good howl together, where her mother asked her to 'not', Balto embraces it, motivates her to keep doing it in fact. That's how I see it anyway.

yeah, there are lots of projects trying to continue the balto saga, even this little aleu project called "Aleu's journey", an animatic by cardielmedia. voiced acted but not really animated.
I listened to the audiobook of balto 4: wolf destiny on youtube and it doesn't really grab or interest me. feels almost like a repeat of 2.
I do plan on uploading a rewrite of my 10 year old fanfiction called "Aleu: Tale of the Alpha" some time soon. There've been a couple of people here and there saying it was good enough to be close to what the original writer would have done had they'd done a balto 4 or aleu spin off, so I'm excited to share.

I read about your rewriting story about "Aleu: Tale of the Alpha" in deviant. But it would not hurt if, for example, you wrote about how Aleu turned 2 years old and then has the mating moment with her friend and teacher - Taku, and a little later has the puppies in the family. My love and lemon story about Aleu and Taku, are just examples for those readers in Sofurry. If you understand what I mean?
I understand. Well, it's good that I can write a little more Lemon Story about Aleu and Taku. But even if you did the rewriting, you could have kept another prologue, as Aleu has given birth to one kid, but later the other five, just before your best story about "reunion" came into the picture. But of course. It's exactly the same thing you wrote several years ago, before I started last winter. But "reunion" is still the best story, and we will see if you make the picture from that story, then when Balto got to meet his daughter again and also meet her family in wolf-pack.
I could rewrite my first little taku and aleu fic on deviantart, I honestly had no idea where to place it and its mostly just love drabble with no plot or context. It was the first time I've written them again in years. There was a part 2 and part 3 sequel to "Tale of the Alpha" in my mind on how it would go. But I couldn't extend the story that much, as I've hit burn out just as I've finished the story. I honestly think i'd need a co writer to help out with some ideas for characters and villains. I do have a poster in mind so that'll be fun!
