That is rather cool to see a concept like this. I dabbled a bit with the idea of how souls would look and be used in a world I'm writing a bit on. Mainly, I have 2 characters do such a thing where they can revive others from their souls or eat them, but that's the short details of it.
I wonder if it's possible to identify an individual you aren't intimately familiar with from their soul stone? Presumably, they don't always get belched out, so if they go through the sewage system I'd wager there's a system to catch, clean, and store them as waste process facilities, if for no other reason than closure for those who can't afford to have their loved ones reformed.
I love the idea of the soulstones. I write stories where the characters become ghosts that can have their bodies restored, but these are really cool. I can imagine a head mafia lady collecting soulstones and using them as jewelry. Just some quick questions, where are the soulstones located in the body, and if someone were to get killed through non-vore means, could the soulstones be surgically removed and the person reformed after?
Neat. I'd love if you could make more stuff about the soulstones, it sounds like there's a lot of story possibilities with them. I'd also love to find out more about the lore of this world and the characters. Just one more question, is it possible for some creatures to absorb the energy from the soulstones to power themselves when they devour someone, like your Cobalt character.
Oh, ok. I saw the Having Second Thoughts artwork, and the description mentioned, "become one with the psychic Dracha..." and thought that meant he could absorb the soulstone's energy to improve his psychic abilities, thus becoming one with him. I guess you just meant that he absorbs their body when he digests them. Oh well, it was just my interpretation.
