Kaye is struck with a powerful straight! He reels back in a noticeable reaction as he’s dazed and his arms begin to lower. He scrambles about the ring trying to keep up his stance as Gritt continues to move in on him. He before he can regain his composure he’s then smacked around with a quick combo of jabs and hooks. In desperation, Kaye tries to counter Gritt by swinging back like a mad man.

His blows land but lack any of the strength he needs to stop Gritt from tossing him around. As Kaye gets ready to toss out a frenzied haymaker, his chin is then blasted with a deadly elbow. The hare’s body pops up in reaction as he begins to fall towards the mat. Seconds after Kaye crashes into the ring, the round ends. It no longer mattered as Kaye didn’t have the strength to continue fighting.

His body writhed around as he weakly tries to force himself back up. Gritt moves over to help the defeated fighter back to his feet. As Kaye is pulled back up, tears fall from his swollen face but he tries to hide it. The fight was close but the loss felt soul-crushing. Gritt makes no boasts of victory but only offers to shake hands in a sense of sportsmanship.
Kaye accepts it while saying “I’m gonna get you back, just you wait.”
