The rocket motif says, “Speed” but it isn’t a rocket. It’s a Hornet. A 1951 Hudson Hornet Convertible Brougham to be exact, the same one featured in my last trio of posts. The Hornet was introduced by the Hudson Motor Car Company in 1951. It was offered through 1954 when Hudson merged with Nash-Kelvinator to form American Motors Corporation.
