For some reason, the interior of this 1941 Cadillac Series 62 makes me think of a library from the 1920s or 30s with its warm brown tones and leather seats.

If I remember correctly they were called ‘Wonder Bar’ radios or something similar. There was a signal strength setting, a heterodyne circuit and a motor to run the dial. When the circuit found a signal equal to or greater than the desired strength the circuit would cut the power to the motor. Simple genius actually.
