Snail: Om noms?
Dandelion: EEK!
Please Don’t Salt the Snails (unless you’re planning to have escargot)
It’s really is gross, and not only that but it’s a pretty painful way for them to die. They are other ways that more painlessly kill them, such as adopting some ducks and having them eat snails (mmm, nutritious duck eggs).
Also, I could have benefitted more from doing research. This little Dandelion didn’t need to worry about snails at all:
Google: “Concerning wild plants the feeding behaviour of snails can also be very different. Clover is a favourite snail food, but dandelion is not. ... Of many vegetable species the leaves can be fed to snails. So cabbage turnip leaves are likely to be eaten and so are the leaves of carrots and radish.”
