So I was putting in another sliver of effort towards the Herculean, and maybe impossible task of tidying up my studio. A couple of photos literally fell out of the drawer into which I was trying to stuff 'em.
One was a polaroid photo taken in Edinburgh, Scotland in the mid-1970's, where 9 or 10-year-old Kjartan (I wasn't Karno, yet) has his arm around his best school chum. Wish I could remember his name, so's I could look him up.
The second image is a snapshot of me and my dad during his one and only visit to Tucson.
The third is me and Traci in front of the Grand Canyon. Yeah, it HAS been a long, strange trip. But that's OK - I'm a long, strange guy.

Its always fun to find such gems like this. I recently took all of the family 8MM, Betamax and VHS tapes and digitized them before they got too worn out to save. Still got to work on the hundreds of photos I snagged to scan in from my dad, but its been quite the trip down memory lane.
My second greatest photographic regret is that the only ones depicting me with a full Viking beard and mustache have only me in the photos; my greatest photographic regret is that none of my modern-day digital photographs include my Dad.
I am thoroughly happy to know you are also skilled in the way of the Long-Being's Armwrap, Good and Excellent Kjartan. Thank you kindly for sharing the above photographs of you and yours with this 2Paw.

A long drink of water.
In my prime I was 6'0" -- freakishly tall for my family -- Dad was 5'8", both my brothers 5'10" and my paternal grandfather 5'7" (his second wife -- the only grandmother I ever knew -- was damned near six feet). Today back and knee issues have left me the same height as my runtish brothers.
