Hey I still exist, just haven't really been drawing lately due to lack of motivation and being busy with college classes, but uhh here's a doodle I did the other day. Warning, spoilers ahead for Fae Tales for those who haven't fully caught up, because Ash's heartsong has been a huge mystery and I don't want it getting revealed to anyone who isn't ready to see it yet! If FA had spoiler blocks I'd use them but they don't seem to exist so. Here's your warning to not read further if you don't wanna know. If you ARE good with that, feel free to continue.

The Ice Plague: Book 3 updated and at long last, we (the readers) know Ash's heartsong. And after 3000 years, Ash now knows his own heartsong. Or at least, he knows what it was, and the reveal is as heartwrenching as I was expecting. Abundance truly was wonderful for him to have, but it unfortunately corrupted due to experiences later in his life and was on its way out, and the events of the Ice Plague series only accelerated that. It's sad that it's gone now, but I'm holding out hope for something even better to grow in its place.

Augus: You made it so beautiful, Ash. It was my favorite heartsong.
